I was born in St. Louis, Mo., where my father went to graduate school to study architecture at Washington University — then I was raised in Houston, Texas. My father is a real-estate developer and business management entrepreneur, so I have been around construction from apartments to commercial property all my life. I am the younger of two children, with an older brother. We both attended Westfield High School before he went off to the University of Pennsylvania and I went to Texas A&M University in College Station to study business marketing and management.
After college, I moved to Southern California – where my family now lives. I married Kevin Ding, who attended Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism and is now a professional writer/columnist covering the NBA for Bleacher Report. We have two beautiful little girls. Sedona is our older daughter, and Maven is 19 months younger. Sedona is smart, thoughtful and has an amazing heart. Maven is spunky, sweet and savvy.
Our lives are extremely fulfilling with so many friends and family here in Southern California. My parents are in Bel Air, and my in-laws live in Redondo Beach. My brother is in Sherman Oaks, and Kevin’s sister and nephews are in Pacific Palisades.
Kevin and I are grateful of all the wonderful success and love we have all around us.
